We are so thankful for two generous donations of winter clothing to help keep our students warm!

Maggie Pow, one of ATES’ special education teachers, coordinated a winter clothing drive with Clark Construction. Several of their employees visited us and delivered coats, hats, waterproof gloves, fleece jackets, pants, and leggings. Jane Thatcher, our school social worker, and Angela Aldave, our parent liaison, did a great job helping Ms. Pow with this effort.

We would also like to thank the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for providing winter outerwear for ATES students, too. Our preschoolers really enjoyed opening up their colorful gift bags to discover warm and cozy coats!

If your child needs a winter coat, gloves, hat, or other cold weather necessities, please contact Angela Aldave at [email protected] or 703-658-5693
