ATES Celebrates Book Character Day and a Cougar Pride Bash!
Students gather for a day of fall fun!
Our Cougars have been working hard the first 9 weeks of school. Our students recieved over 850 Paw Praises and earned some fun events on October 31st.
Our Specials team ran Book Character Day. Teachers and students were encouraged to dress up as their favorite book characters. During specials time, teachers dropped by as guest readers and read to classes. Our Art Team gave students the opportunity fall themed headbands if they wanted to dress up. Our PE team ran a pumpkin patch obstacle course where students needed to carry a ball using anything but their hands from one end of the gym to the other.
Our Math instructional leaders got classes into the fall spirit as well with fun math activities!
Our AART Teacher encouraged students to build a house with our brand new STEM kits featured during our Civic Center visit.
Our school ended the day with the Cougar Pride Bash. Thanks to our wonderful families, the students were rewarded for their excellent behavior with DIY Popcorn bags. Students were able to scoop various treats in with their popcorn and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
