The Region 6 Leadership Team is pleased to announce Ms. Candice Raynor as the new assistant principal at Annandale Terrace Elementary School, effective January 6th, 2025.

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Candice Raynor as the new Assistant Principal at Annandale Terrace Elementary School! Ms. Raynor brings a wealth of experience in education, having served in various roles such as teacher, mentor, and administrative coordinator in Prince Williams County Public Schools. Her passion for fostering student achievement and equity shines through her dedication to supporting English Learners, implementing effective instructional strategies, and collaborating with staff to create inclusive learning environments.

Ms. Raynor holds a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia and has certifications in PreK-12 Administration and Supervision as well as PreK-6 Elementary Education. Most recently, she served as the Administrative Coordinator of Sustainability of Federal Programs in Prince William County Schools, where she worked closely with principals and instructional leaders to enhance English Learner programs and student success.

Her commitment to professional development, mentorship, and innovative leadership will undoubtedly enrich our school community.
