ATES Celebrates the Start of Winter with Fun Activities
Annandale Terrace brought in some winter cheer before we left for winter break. Students participated in a variety of activities to celebrate the coming of the winter season! Take a look at some of the fun!
Exclusive Winter Performances
The week before winter break, we were serenated each morning by our wonderful music team playing holiday music to lift our spirits for the day. Our orchestra, band, music, and ensemble teamed up to provide students with a cheerful start to a cold day!
Gingerbread Joy
Many classrooms participated in building gingerbread houses! Not only are they a delicious treat, but they also provide hands on learning with geometry, measurement, and problem solving skills!
Winter Hallway Decorating Competiton
Our SCA partnered with our Family Engagement Committee to create a school-wide hallway decorating competition! Each grade level or section of a hallway was given a theme. Teachers and students worked together to create some incredible mural masterpieces!
On December 20th, our parents were the judges! Parents who came to our bi weekly Parent Coffee viewed all of the incredible work our school accompished. The decided the winners were:
